After dedicating over 30,000 manhours, Triad is nearing completion on the fabrication of nearly 11,000 feet of balustrades and handrails for the Airport Guideway and Stations Design-Build Contract in Honolulu, Hawaii. The design-build contract includes a new 5.2-mile elevated guideway that will extend from Aloha Stadium to the Middle Street Transit Center Station and includes four stations. This is the third in a series of projects to design and build the Honolulu Rail Transit Project, a 20-mile grade separated fixed guideway transit system with 21 stations. These stainless-steel architectural balustrades will be used at each of the stations on the project.
